What I Think On A Tuesday Night {My Weekly Ramblings}

January 25, 2012

Pretty amazing how going to sleep at 9 rather than midnight makes waking up at 6 so much easier.

It’s one of those nights… tuna melts, homemade kettle corn, and Spongebob floating in vanilla yogurt.

Sometimes this path of life is hard, and things happen for reasons you can’t figure out.  But it all happens for a reason and at the end of the day all you can do is simply put one foot in front of the other and move forward.

I really want a new car.  Really really bad.

It’s not easy having to deal and interact with sociopaths, pathological liars, and enablers.  I know, it’s a no brainer.

And in case you were wondering, family and business is still a hard mix.

This morning realized I probably look like a complete dork when I’m in the car by myself laughing hysterically at the morning radio show.   Oh well.  Speaking of laughing…people need to do it more.

At times (okay, a lot of the time) I want to live in a Pinterest world.

It’s funny how the universe pushes you out of certain situations because it knows you would never leave on your own, and that ultimately your awesomeness is needed and appreciated more elsewhere.

We’re half way through our fifth year on this adventure called Beau. It gets more and more interesting with each passing day.  Right now this adventure is all about mermaids, cooking videos on You Tube, and “All the Single Ladies.”

February is quickly approaching and I’m still mulling over my word for 2012.  I have a lot of things I want to work on, but I can only do so much.

I wish more women thought of themselves as Superwomen.

Happy rest of the week to you!

    It constantly amazes me how going to sleep earlier makes everything so much easier! It really is funny how the universe constantly pushes you out of your comfort zone into new situations. It’s like outgrowing a shell. One day your old home just doesn’t fit anymore, so you’re forced to look for another one. Good luck. Maybe your word should be “forward.”

    I really want a new car too…. I’m with ya on that one! Don’t you just hate it when the enablers, sociopaths, and pathological liars show up around you more than you would like? I do too. 😉

    Lizzi, your posts always make me smile. You always talk about stuff I think about but seldom say. Like how funny it is when I laugh out loud somewhere and no one is around to share it with. Or about how weird it is to have to deal with sociopaths. Maybe you don’t need a word of the year this year. I didn’t pick one either. I decided I don’t feel like I need one.

    I love posts like this…gives us a great insight into what’s REALLY going on up there (up there being in your head. LOL). I should really start going to bed before midnight…it might mean getting more done during NORMAL daylight hours instead of late at night!

    First of all…love the picture! I’m starting to think that I need to de-follow a few people on Instagram because I feel bad that my house isn’t more beautiful. Same with Pinterest. But it is fun to dream. I am Superwoman…but sometimes that gets my in trouble cause I bite off too much. 🙂
