Reese’s Pieces make homework a little easier to get done.
Especially when you’re wrapping up that month long challenge project.
Wrapping it up the night before it’s due.
Like mother like son.
And if the Reese’s weren’t enough there’s chocolate milk.
I turn my back for a few seconds and this happens…one of those nights.
And since he didn’t finish it off, I did.
Out of the carton.
A late dinner at Filiberto’s for Shane’s birthday.
Yeah, we really live it up.
Loot from the 25 cent toy machine.
What is the message in a play gun, a cross, and a flip flops charm?
Done in for.
Sometimes short weeks are the longest.
But really, I think we should transition to four-day work/school weeks.
Then we could have two days of fun and a day of complete rest.
This was after a snake crossed my path.
There’s nothing like a slithering snake with its head up to get you moving.
To say I was on edge for the next 3.5 miles is an understatement.
Head down all the way, eyes open for creatures of any kind.
I guess he’s Mr. Big Teeth now.
I’m not sure how I feel about this.
I’m getting nostalgic for baby teeth.
But not for diapers and midnight feedings.
Who’s Got More Lanyards Than Us?
Nobody!
Seriously, they are all over our house.
One for every day of the week and then some.
Saturday night by the fire.
Feet up, getting just toasty enough.
Silliness and laughter all around.
And s’mores dip.
It was a dark and stormy night…
Beau spent all afternoon looking forward to telling scary stories around the firepit.
And it was all fun and games for a while.
And then there may or may not have been zombies lurking just beyond the fence.
