Atomic Lola tagged me in a photo challenge…the 10th photo in my 1st folder and its story.
Here goes.

This is the inside of the Lutherisch Kirch church in Glenwood, Iowa. My husband Shane’s grandparents used to be the caretakers of this church and the cemetary on its grounds. When Shane was a teenager he mowed the cemetary lawns with his grandfather. We went back there this summer to go inside the church and explore the grounds. The church is old (it was built in 1880) and small. I was taken by the clean simplicity of the inside.
And just because I love the exterior of this church, I’m posting photo 11.

Beautiful! That is exactly the kind of church I want to get married in and the kind I wish I had spent my whole life going to. Ah…simplicity.
