Do you ever go back and re-read your old blog posts? I don’t usually but I just did and realize that I said I’d keep you posted on some subjects (that I’m sure you’re dying to know all about) and have been doing a pretty lousy job at that. So here goes…
My new ‘do…I got my hair cut and now it’s a little below my ears in the front and stacked in the back. My mind was saying I wanted the back wispy, but my mouth was saying I wanted the back choppy. Major disconnect. It looks fine and I like it and am still growing it out so I can have the same style but a tad longer. This cut and grow and cut and grow is the story of my life.
Master redecoration…I am crazy. I did redecorate my bedroom…again. Remember how I casually mentioned I wanted to paint my world red and aqua? Those two colors being my latest obsession. No I haven’t repainted my world, but I did get a bright red duvet cover and aqua throw pillows and an amazing photo of red leaves for over our bed. And some other naturey black and white photos (cool naturey because they are by Ansel Adams) for the walls. I’m really happy with it…for now. Anyway, ask Shane…I’m crazy.
Menu planning…Well, it’s still in the planning stages. It’s all good in theory. It’s the putting theory into reality that’s not so good. Do you menu plan or do you fly by the seat of your pants like me?
New wardrobe for Iowa…Yes I bought one. No not really, just a few tees and asymetrical skirts by SEED (at Wal-Mart, one of my least favorite places but whatever). They are comfortable and cute.
Book finishing…I’m this close (are you putting your thumb and index finger together with just a slip of air between them?) to finishing my 4th book in less than a month. Incredible is what it is! I still have two to finish (from long ago) and then I’ll be working with a cleaner slate.
There, I think you are all up to date whether you wanted to be or not! Sorry for not including photos…I’m just not that with it right now.
Holga…Remember that crazy camera I got? I haven’t used it lately, but I have six rolls of film itching to be exposed so I’ll be using it soon. I’m thinking about taking it to Iowa (I probably should) but I’m not sure about film cameras and airport security and I’m not sure how much I’ll actually use it. We’ll see….I’ll keep you posted. Maybe I’ll even surprise you with some actual pictures from it!!

Thanks for the update! I am probably guilty of not following up too….
I am an avid menu planner. I can't stand to throw food away, so I plan a menu for a week that uses some pf the same ingredients, especially when it comes to produce.

I never menu plan. Hubby and I go back and forth in the morning on what to make and then lay out something to thaw. I wish I had it together better.
Growing out hair is such a pain. I finally like mine…but it never lasts. I'll get bored, chop it, and then be pissed off about it. Vicious cycle!

I hear you about the hair thing!

I never menu plan either, unless we are having people over for dinner or going to the beach for the weekend. A few weeks ago, I planned an entire vegetarian menu for Memorial Day weekend, but then our friends weren't able to come because they were sick!
BTW, I just read in my Toronto guidebook that the new x-ray machines they have at airports fry film. So if you do take film to Iowa, you might want to purchase a special bag to put it in (to protect it from the scanner).
Hope you have a great weekend!

I kind of menu plan. I pick out the meals for the week but every day decide which to make.
I <3 Ansel Adams. His photography is amazingly beautifulishious!!

I wish I did menu planning! It seems like it would cut down on time, groceries, and maybe even be healthier.
Thank you for the updates. I'm really bad about updating on situations too…

I tried to make my living room red and aqua recently! Then the red slipcovers just HAD to go and were replaced with black and black and white floral stuff. Oh, Ikea…

when you go back to read your old blog posts, do they sound familiar at all? on occasion when I've read mine, it is almost as if I am reading someone else's work. it's eerie.
