This is the interior of my car. As you can see, it is disgusting. Don’t look too hard. In my cup holders I have smashed up Ritz crackers (courtesy of Beau), a long animal cracker, the mailbox key (I should keep this in a safer place since we only have one) and a post-it note reminding me of what to bring for our weekly potluck at work (delicious today, by the way.) If you dare to look harder you will see liquid spots (water, I hope, but probably milk or juice from Beau’s pitching practice in the backseat.) You don’t want to know how long it has looked this way. And I don’t want to tell you. Suffice to say it has been in this horrid condition for too long. I won’t even show you the backseat. Cleaning my car has been on my to-do list forever. This week I’ll scratch it off.

Don’t feel bad, my car looks very similar and I have no children to blame it on! I can, however, blame the dirtiness on my dog…there are little white hairs, paw prints, a tennis ball, and his favorite tire toy all in my car right now. Not to mention the smears on the window from his nose…so gross.

Like Haley, I have no excuse for the disastrous state of my vehicle other than pure lack of concern!

No judgements from me. Our suv has had stuff in it from MA in October. And there’s always coffee splashed all over the place thanks to Vic.

And dust so thick on the dash you can write your name in it!

Lol. Well, you know me and my OCD. But I have been known to let my car get too dusty and leave dog snot streaks on my back windows. I may be clean, but I’m also pretty lazy. 🙂 I can only imagine how much harder it will be to keep clean once a kid is in the picture!

I’m right there with you! It’s all I can do to keep the house reasonably tidy…the car is another story and only gets cleaned up once in a while when I can’t stand it any longer! Maybe when they grandbaby is here I can trade some babysitting for some car cleaning…since she uses the car too. Hey they sounds like a great idea!

Lizzi, this makes me feel SO much better!
