We had a Super Moon. And as expected, it was super bright. Whenever it’s a full moon I remember when was about 10 or 11, and my dad and I were driving home from out in the Atherton area of Novato. We were on a country road talking about how bright the full moon was, and how people use it as guide. Since it was just us on the road he turned off his headlights to show me. I was awed and mesmerized by how bright the moon was shining down on us. It’s funny those odd little memories that stick.I literally forgot how to use my camera. I was looking at the controls I had customized and numbers on the dials like they were in a foreign language. Thank goodness it all came back to me. Lesson learned: Use my camera more than once a year.
Going to the gym on Friday night makes the weekend that much better. For real. Yeah I’m exciting like that.
I’ve been itching to put up the Christmas tree all week. I finally bought cinnamon pinecones so it’s starting to smell all Holiday-y.
I’m thinking about challenging myself to read only books I own. I think it’s silly to set self-imposed limits like this, but it’s also silly having as many un-read books as I do.
We think Monkey might be part cat. He leaps and jumps up on things like one. It’s amusing. Until he leaps on you as you’re going to sleep.
Cotton season snuck up on me this year. It’s my favorite season. I love all the fields and crops here, but especially cotton. They are building housing tracts and shopping centers right and left here. I wonder how many more years of fields we have.
I’m super excited for the short holiday week coming up. We could use more of them!
