There are few things I find as satisfying as spending time in the kitchen.
It’s a sort of therapy for me. A time to relax, reflect, and work with my hands.
I find it peaceful to work with food. The cutting, chopping, kneading, rolling, mixing.
Cooking and baking are comforting activities that make me feel whole and ground me.
They are also activities I don’t get to spend as much time as I’d like on…something to work on in 2011.
