Dear Mother Nature,
Apparently you didn’t get the memo.
It’s Fall.
Granted we don’t have many trees here that change colors,
but I wouldn’t mind a change in the temperature.
(And no it wasn’t actually 115, but 105 is still hot, too hot.)

Dear Beau,
I can’t believe I never had the idea of painting my Cabbage Patch Kids’
toenails when I was little.
Pure brilliance!
Thanks for adding so much color to my life.

Dear Santa,
It’s still September and we’re already writing to you.
Yeah, I know we’re early.
You might have your work cut out for you.
Pretend spiders, a real camera, jungle animals, pie, castles.
But all in a day’s work, right?
P.S. – I think I can handle the cake and steak.
P.P.S. – Beau really is a good boy. With a stubborn streak.
♥♥♥

Eeek – I couldn’t stand those sort of temps even though I grew up with them in Australia. We have really acclimatised to the cooler temps of NZ and there’s no way I could go back to that sort of heat.
Love the santa list 🙂

I’m amazed how much I’ve acclimated to the hot temps here. I don’t really mind the summer heat; it’s how long the summer lasts (5+ months) that gets to me.
Hope life is good! 🙂

Painting the toenails of dolls… I used to do that when I was a kid. I even painted the lips red with nail polish to give it a shine. LOL. I enjoyed your little notes. Glad I found your site.
