Letter From Beau No. 11

November 24, 2009

Hi All.

Beau here.  It’s been awhile… like four months of awhile.  My absence could be due to the fact that my parents try to keep me clear of the laptop.  Honestly though,  can I help it if my creative expression involves a Sharpie on the screen? Oh well. I’ve been doing things big.  Last I wrote I was 1. Now I’m 2.  I still have my same old tricks up my sleeve.  You know…  Running. Jumping. Crashing. Ramming.  I like to get dirty. Very dirty and messy.  And as you can see I don’t like to get my fingernails cleaned or cut.  And my mom is opting out of that battle for now.  Even though I like to get myself messy, I’m into cleaning other things.  Give me a squirt bottle and I’m Mr. Clean, without the bald head and gold earring.  I will spray everything in sight.  The best part of cleaning is that you have to make the mess to clean.  And vacuums and brooms?  Best things ever invented.  Seriously. No lie.  In other big news…I can whistle!  Yep. You read it right. Whistle.  I’ll try to write again before  I’m on the 3 side!

Catch ya later, Beau

Glad to hear from you Beau! Sounds like you're having a grand time in your 2nd year. Have a Happy Turkey Day little man!

Happy Thanksgiving Lizzi, to you and yours.

Oh, Beau, you're just like my youngest boy; he hated to get his nails cleaned and cut, too. Once, while he was sitting in my lap while I tried to cut his nails, he slammed his head so hard into my mouth that I have a tooth that's dead now. Try not to do that to your mommy!

Well Hello Beau, happy to hear from you! tee hee hee, to cute!
My step-daughter took a sharpie to his new comforter back in his bachelor days! When we got married we retired the khaki and "black sharpie" comforter 🙂

What a wonderful Thanksgiving present: a sweet angel who can whistle! You are so adorable Beau, I bet your mom is super proud of you. Even if she gets a little tense when you get too deep into your creative side.

This is my first time and I'm so glad your letter was the first thing I saw. Have I said how much I enjoy your writing voice? Well I do, your style is fresh and colorful–literally. I can't wait to here more from you and your adventures!

Btw, you might want to try a different canvas for your art. We don't want to make you mom cry do we? Although, if she is laughing between tears of joy, it might be worth it. Maybe…

    Happy Thanksgiving!

I love your letters from Beau…a creative way to remember each stage of his life. It must seem like he's growing up so quickly!
