Mozart’s Requiem and How Great Thou Art are so beautiful they make me cry…in a good way.
Sometimes, when I look at Beau and think of his future and all of the possibilities out there for him I wish I were a kid again.
At 30-years-old I am captivated by Dr. Seuss’s Sleep Book all over again. I’ve been reading it to Beau this week as he goes to bed and I’m still taken by the illustrations and story, just like I was when I was little. Not to be a pushy parent, but…every parent should read this to their child.
“The Office” is Laugh Out Loud Funny. Yes. Capitalized.
January 16 is sure to be a good day! Why? Because that’s when Nie is back! How amazing and inspiring is her and her family’s story?!? It makes me cry and laugh and rejoice and be thankful all at the same time. Seriously, when cjane spread the news I wanted to do all of the above!
Beau is one goofy boy. He can say and gesture “touchdown” and sign “bath” from Shane’s one “made up sign language” lesson but can’t say “dada,” and well, we’re not exactly sure if his “mama” is more than just “more.”
I’m excited for the future. I’m choosing happiness.

Lizzi –
I so love your outlook on things. It helps lift me up from the events of Friday. And it Shall Pass. It always does.

Tamye,
After it goes down it goes up…:)

Well not in all cases. Unfortunatly as we grow older some things gravitate south that we can’t get back up. Like the lady at the store I saw today, she apparently thouht it was ok to go without support today. Yikes! Sad Sad Sad.
Lizzi says
Gee, thanks for the visual Tamye!! 🙂
Messmer Family says
Anytime.

Very well said! I think all things that are tough and unexpected eventually pass. Your postive attitude is what will get you through! I try so hard to stay positive about things, but it’s not always easy. I admire your attitude!
