I started some spring cleaning last night. It was just Beau and me so we ate cereal for dinner and got to work. It felt so good. And now I get to enjoy a neat and tidy house.
Shane and I actually had a conversation about Riff and BJ. Like maybe BJ should stop letting Riff play with his things because he always breaks them or loses them. We must be losing our minds. Please tell me you know who Riff and BJ are.
A lot of hand tracing has been going on in our house. It’s our art project of choice.
I’ve been thinking a lot about my past (no, it’s not deep or dark) and how I let it affect my present. Deep subject.
My computer spent the week getting cleaned up and spiffy. Next best thing to a new one.
How do you motivate yourself? I’m feeling less than motivated right now. Hopefully spring time and open windows and breezy air will clear my mind and get me moving.
We have a wild night ahead of us this weekend. Doing our taxes. Ugh. I liked it better when we had them done.
I want some new clothes, but I’ll settle for painting my toenails.
I also want warmth. 90 degree warmth.
Unless you work in the medical field I don’t think it’s appropriate to wear scrubs to work. Especially if you work in an office. Even if they are pink. Just my thinking.
So Shane is running in the Pat Tillman walk/run in a few weeks. I’ll be home with Beau while he does his 4.2 miles, but I’m seriously considering running in it next year.
I want to feel like I’m doing something. Really doing something. Something bigger than just my little world.
If you do Passover I hope you’re getting through this unleavened week okay and if you do Easter don’t eat too many chocolate bunnies. And if you just do, keep on doing great.
I love Friday afternoons. Beau and I usually spend them in the backyard watching birds and airplanes.
Have you heard Emily King’s “Ain’t No Sunshine?” I love it. Honestly, I love any version of that song.
Happy Weekend to you!
