It looks like rain. I hope the clouds actually produce.
Things come out in the wash. Everything works out in due time. You get the gist of what I’m saying…
I’m closer to 32 than 31 (although I just had to think of the year I was born to figure out my current age) and I still can’t say no.
My three-in-less-than-a-week-year-old can handle spicier food than I can. I feel like a gastronomical loser.
What sweet sentimental nothings do you save? Pinned to my bulletin board I have a Paris Metro billet from either 1994 or 1996.
I almost forgot I had a blog. Actually, I did forget for a few days. Or maybe a few weeks.
How is your summer?
I can’t imagine not being able to rest my head and heart peacefully at night.
I know the 4th already passed, but I wish we celebrated more holidays with fireworks. Or just for no reason.
Could you imagine if we had the power of mind reading?
I like simple. That is all I want.
I’m sitting here at my kitchen table, the dogs are sprawled out snoring, Panic Room is on television, there are balloons blown up just because, toys and jump ropes and books are strewn about…Life is good. No complaints.
Blogger? Wordpress? What do you use?
Good night. Hope all is well.

I don't know about mind reading. In some ways it would be great to know what people are thinking instead of what is coming out of their mouths. On the other hand, would I really want to know everything people were thinking?

I am so so so glad we do not have the power to read minds.
So So So.
I don't want others to know what I'm thinking, and I probably wouldn't really want to know what they are thinking either.
I like Blogger. I've tried WordPress but I don't love it.

I've always liked "things come out in the wash"…or warsh as my Alabama grandma used to say before she lost her accent. Saying no is awesome. Seriously. I love it. I used to be afraid to say no and then when I got to around 34ish I loved it. Made me feel liberated. I have saved every concert ticket stub I've ever gone to since I was 13. My summer seems rushed and not like summer at all really. Where's the every day pool time? The beach time?? In Reno they used to do fireworks after every outdoor concert at one of the hotels and they do them after every minor league game here in Frisco. I love it. I'm not sure I'd want to read minds. I would and I wouldn't. It would cure my nosiness problem most likely though!! lol

I think sometimes, the rain is the best wash of all. You know, there's a good reason it's such an archetype in movies and books…that's because it's the truth. So, I hope you got some rain and everything bad washed away.
I'm sure you're almost-3-year-old can eat spicier foods than me. I'm a total wimp about spicy. I love "gastronomical loser."
I still have the first dollar I made in tips from my first job (hostess) after high school.
I'm craving simple too. I think that's why God made summer-all of the best things in summer are so simple.
I use Blogger.
Happy Thursday!

I've always thought that if I were around a mind reader I would sit there thinking the most insane, obscene thoughts, simply because I'd KNOW that person could know my thoughts. That would be terrible. And if I had the power of mind reading I'd probably be miserable because everyone lies to a certain extent to make us all feel better. "Oh no. you don't look fat in those jeans." I mean do I really want to hear that I do?
