It has been awhile hasn’t it? At least it feels that way to me.
Lesson learned…again….Target and toddlers don’t mix. I see other moms at Target with not 1, 2, 3, or 4 kids, but 5 and I think to myself “how?” I’m literally chasing my one kid around the umbrella section about to have a breakdown myself and they’re calmly walking down the aisle with their entire brood!
I could go for a margarita. Anything. Unfortunately the strongest thing we have in the house is chocolate cake.
Life has been a daze. I’ve hardly been here but I hardly know where I’ve been.
Today is the first day of summer. How long until winter? No, I’m kidding…sort of.
I need more flowers in my life. Big bunches of them. I also need to take more photos.
I can’t quite put my finger on it, but I feel as though I’ve lost a little bit of drive. Maybe not drive, but something. Or maybe I’m just gearing up for something big and don’t know it yet. I like the latter.
It’s amazing how many falling outs and problems and fights and disagreements arise from miscommunication or lack of communication. And controlling natures. It’s one thing to know this in my head but quite another to see it first hand.
Two years 11 months is hard. I’m getting a little worried about 3.
Walking barefoot in the sand right now sounds almost heavenly. So does listening to the waves and seagulls.
Are you the type of person to do something just because someone thinks you can’t?
Shrek (the first one) is our new Kung-Fu Panda, and let me tell you I’m getting tired of listening to Cameron D. So very tired.
Speaking of tired…I’m exhausted. Good night. I hope to be here again sooner than later.

Lizzie,
Just relax and enjoy. Summer weather is tough.
Too hot! You have been missed in the blogging world. I love to read your thoughts.
Ocean breezes, sand, and water always sound good when the temp hits in the 90s. It will be hot and HUMID here.
Three isn't so bad. YOu will see it has it very special moments.

Sometimes – actually with me, often times – chocolate cake would make me feel better over just about anything!
I think you're gearing up for something big too.

Wow. The photos on this post are amazing. That daisy is beautiful!
And I could go for a walk in the sand right now…

These pictures are stunning…I need more flowers in my life too. I had the urge the other day to stop at a florist, but then I realized that would be extravagant. But really I need some. Yes, I always want to do things that people think I can't do…this little girl inside says "oh, yes I can!"

Oh yes, the joy of toddlers in stores. Can't say I miss it a bit. Once I had all three of my kids out–7, 4 and 1 at the time; we were in the grocery story and it was only a miracle they were all alive by the time we got to the checkout. When the lady asked "How are you doing today?" my reply was "I'll be better when I get them home." To which she said,"It could be worse; one day they'll all be teenagers." Oh, yeah–that was a comfort! But at least when they are teenagers, you don't have to take them all to the store with you any more!

Lizzi-
I miss so much by reading you on my Google Reader! I love the layout and all of the photographs are gorgeous. Makes me wish I took more pictures. When I go for walks around the neighborhood I look at things and think, "That would make a great picture." I have not yet set out for a walk with my heavy Nikon around my neck. But I should. And take it from a mother who routinely has 3 children at Target, it only takes one to throw off everyone!
