Bookworm {Sweet Shot Tuesday}

August 24, 2010

I am the first to admit that I’m a bookworm.
I always have been.
A home without books is simply unimaginable to me.
When I see used books for sale I have this need to save them.
The older and more well-read the book the better.
Give me a tattered and torn book buried in a box at an auction and I’m a happy girl.
Can you imagine sitting for Artistic Portraiture in 1885?
I can’t.
War and Peace in three volumes.
Well read by many people I’m sure, but not by me.

A photoless photo album.
Once upon a time it showcased people and memories.
Maybe.

Publish Date:1936
This book remains uncut.
It has never been read.
I want to know why.

Cool pictures! I feel the same way about used books. I always wonder who has held and read and cherished them!

Oh, I'm a sucker for an old book. The more worn it is, the better…

    Good gracious, you are talented!
