Weeks ago, Jo, Holli, Brandie, and Roxy all bestowed me with The Proxmitity Award for blogs which: “…invest and believe in Proximity; Nearness in space, time and relationships. These blogs are exceedingly charming. These kind bloggers aim to find and to be friends. Our hope is that when the ribbons of these prizes are cut, even more friendships are propagated. Please give more attention to these writers! Deliver this award to 8 bloggers, who must then chose 8 more and include this text into the body of their award.”
I was supposed to bestow this on others that week, but once again time got away from me…so I’m doing so now. I’m creating 2 rules for me: 1) I’m giving this to people I only know through their blogs, because to me that seems the essence of this award. 2) I’m giving this to 4 bloggers and bestowing it back to those who gave it to me.
Please take a jaunt over to these blogs and make some new friends.
In no order…
Lora, of Jakezilla who keeps it real, keeps it fun, keeps it witty, and sometimes makes me laugh so hard I cry. And her little boy is pretty darn cute.
Marie, of Every Day Is A Miracle whose blog incorporates a great mix of her wonderful personality (another Libra), her 3 dramatic boys (literally…they’ll be stars one day), and her views of the world and life.
Deb, of Slobbsblogg whose great writing about her own life and experiences makes me think I need to journal mine more. And she lived in Petaluma, to boot!
Jennifer, of Broken Bananas because, and I quote from her blog “If one women (who doesn’t know me, my four friends don’t count) sees something of herself in this and realizes she is not the only deranged mother in our little corner of the world then I will be happy. And if I am eventually able to support a designer purse/shoe collection with this little venture then all my struggles will be worthwhile.” And Broken Bananas is a great name.
I’m returning the favor to these great bloggers too…
Holli, of Three Wishes is probably the sweetest blogger in the world and will always lift your spirits. And is a wonderful pen pal! Thanks Holli!
Brandie, of Live, Laugh, Love who shares my frustration at idiot drivers, my love of books, and makes me realize that I’m not the only one who has those blah days when you really don’t want to be at work. Thanks Brandie!
Jo, of Diggin’ Around is such an attentive blogger, and even though we’ve never met in person, I bet she is the kind of person you could meet and talk to you like you’ve always known her. Plus, she is a wonderful comments conversationalist!! Thanks Jo!
Roxy, of In Roxy’s Head because as she said “All the random and weird stuff that goes through my head as I venture through my life so ordinary.” is really quite interesting! Thanks Roxy!
