This week in Love That Shot some of us were talking about other members of our families who enjoy photography. I mentioned that Beau was starting to enjoy taking photos. Mostly his photos are with my BlackBerry and are of his fingers; he grins huge and laughs his big deep belly laugh upon seeing his photographic captures. This afternoon he caught sight of my camera on the counter and got it in his head that he had to go on a photo safari in our house. So with Daisy (yes I did name my camera) safely around my neck he led me from one spot to another, capturing whatever it was that caught his eye. He had the camera snug against his face and his little finger pressed the shutter release button on all of these shots.
P.S. – You’re not surprised at the 2 vacuum shots are you?
I absolutely love this… my nephew loved taking pics with my camera too about this age and now he’s gotten really good. The pics he takes of us from his height turn out perfect….
So cute!!! I love that he led you around the house taking pictures. I love that you can do that digitally now. When my kids where that age I had a film or sometimes a disposable camera that they would do that with and I had to PAY to get those wonderful shots developed. But they were still special and many live in my boxes of photographs from the 90’s. Thauna recently posted..Love That Shot – link up
Just found ya in ramblings&photos comment stream! 🙂 I totally love that dog-shot! and that first vacuum-cleaner one! What an interesting thing to do letting a child take the pictures!! Great idea! I might try it sometime! 🙂
