Saturday… Explosions & Jokes
And in true Shane fashion, he put one of Beau’s toy bugs on our pizza, took a picture of it and sent it to our nephew. Hilarious.
Sunday… Barber Shop Kitchen
A much needed haircut for Beau. If only my locks grew as fast as his… (Note to self…No trimming your hair!)
Monday… Elephants & Open Skies
You see the little boy on the right in a gray sweatsuit? That’s Beau. Kind of in a costume. You see, Shane was wearing the super cute elephant hat that Beau wanted, but didn’t actually want to wear. Fortunately he had a pretty awesome skeleton hand bag that made up for his lack of spooky attire!
And isn’t the sunset pretty? I always love that time of day, when day and night meet in the middle. Much of the time I wished I lived in a big city, but when I get to look at this I don’t think I could give up this open expanse.
Tuesday… Looking My Fill
I will never grow tired of the fires in the sky shows that Arizona puts on. When I get to see sunsets like this I can’t imagine living anywhere else. It makes the 6-7 months of summer bearable.
Wednesday… Singing Out Loud
Oh Spotify… I really, really, really like you. You make my days, with the endless emails, questions, inquiries, meetings so much fun. Well, at least a bit more fun. And you make my commute rock.
Thursday… Monkeys & Sundaes
I’m easy when it comes to ice cream. McDonald’s. Hot fudge and nuts optional.
No one tells you that with parenthood comes the discovery of toys everywhere. Like monkeys in your purse. On a side note I did discover a $10 bill in my purse. Not such a bad find!
Friday… Dark Mornings & Flip Flops
It’s my early day at work. You know, alarm clock going off before 5 AM, getting on the road before the sun has made its appearance. And all of a sudden this week it seems super dark. I know we’re moving toward winter (despite the fact that is was 90 on Halloween) but it pretty much caught me off guard. Driving to work in the dark also made me second guess myself and wonder if I had matching flip flops on. Fortunately I did.
