♥ Surprise Surprise…I’m here.
♥ So some people down the street already have their front yard decked out for Halloween? A little early or not so much? I’m thinking the former.
♥ A tidy house really does bring me peace.
♥ Having avocados in my fridge year round make me feel rich.
♥ Today I’m pondering why it’s so hard to forgive ourselves.
♥ I’m also pondering things that make me feel old…like showing a girl at work that the machine in the corner is a typewriter and that yes there are forms I still need to use it for. And that once upon a time there was an actor named Keanu Reeves. And a singer named Alanis. And my 15-year reunion is next month.
♥ But I’m also thinking that if 40 is the new 30, then really I’m barely legal to drink. Right?
♥ Why is it that I can stream Amadeus and Gone With The Wind on Netflix on my phone but not on the TV? A teeny tiny screen isn’t so great for epics.
♥ I love the sweet sweet sound of rain. I just hope it lasts longer than 5 minutes.

I love your randomness Lizzi!!! Ahh! keanu reeves! he is awesome! I remember using a typewriter in elementary school! It is crazy how I will drive around town, and no one is paying attention while they walk through the streets..they are all on their smart phones. It is a little freaky! I agree..it is amazing how all the stores have halloween and thanksgiving stuff out all ready.
A tidy house brings me peace, too, and right now I’m not feeling peaceful nor am I energetic enough to tidy. Maybe if I put up a Halloween decoration I’ll appear to be ahead of the curve. Whatever that means.
