Here’s the tech stuff: ISO 200, 1/320, f6.4, 250mm. Believe it or not I didn’t use a tripod. I held the camera slightly away from my face – just enough so that I could see the moon through the viewfinder, but so it wasn’t up against my nose or cheek. I experimented with my white balance and kept it on tungsten just because I liked the cool tones. Then in elements I used Pioneer Woman’s “Sharpen This” action to bring out the details, and I adjusted the brightness and contrast a bit.
I always love to watch the sky at night because it’s bright when there’s a full moon.
